Kathy Norwine...

...had innate musical talent evident from her earliest years, reading music before words. At the age of 5, Kathy was already singing solos in her church's children's choir. Soon after, she landed children's roles in community music and theatre productions.
Kathy has sung on independently released recordings, both pop and classical, and has been the recipient of numerous vocal awards and scholarships. She toured Europe with an elite music ensemble and has participated in oratorio chorales, Bach consorts and musical theater troupes. Kathy has played in orchestras and jazz bands, and was recruited by several music colleges and conservatories. Although piano, saxophone, flute, piccolo, fife and guitar are among the many instruments Kathy plays or has played, she considers singing her first love.
Kathy finds no greater joy than in delighting children with her animated musical delivery. Kathy credits her dad, an accomplished tenor soloist, and Phillip R. Dietterich, her lifelong music mentor and teacher, for instilling a love of music, her continuous inspiration for singing and songwriting.
